Sources, Sinks and Redirections
Synthetic planar hilslopes
Normal Wetness index incorporating the effects of line sources and sinks and flow redirection.
The following simulations have been done on a hill slope network generated by Topog_Stripgen with a uniform slope of 25%. In each case soil transmissivity (T) is 1 m2/day and lateral drainage flux (q) is 12 mm/day.
Simulation 1 is the control scenario. Simulation 2 shows the effect of a line source (black line) with a value of 1 m3/day. Simulation 3 shows the effect of a line sink (black line) with a trap efficiency of 100%. Simulation 4 shows the effect of flow redirection caused by a structure (such as a bank).
OTHER STEADY STATE BALANCE OUTPUTS
